I'm not sure how much I like this chapter but I've given up on working on it any longer so, without further ado, the next chapter of 'What Happened Before the Wedding'- in which R/Hr finally break up.

Nicely done. Rather different from most of the R/H breakup scenes I've seen, and also from the Ron/Harry let's-be-buds-again scenes. Very realistic tone. One of the best H/Hr writers, and somehow you're actually improving. < /gobsmacked >

You may not be happy with it, but I think you've done a fine job. It takes a skilled hand to have a breakup scene be that honest and yet not lay undue blame on any shoulders.

Gee ... I guess that's the end of the story! I mean, what possibly can happen now? :-)

A good breakup, with Ron keeping his dignity. But *we* still know who the one to blame is, don't we? ;-) Silly kids, they should have asked us first.

Hermione's first thought after her breakthrough - sending the good news to Harry - was very nice. That's true love, when your first thought is to make someone else happy. And I felt happy reading that.
