The line about Hedwig made me burst into tears. I'm bawling over a fictional owl. But I was so heartbroken when she was killed off, so you including her in this story was lovely. ((HUGS))

That line about Hedwig was one of those last-minute inspirations that I just had to stick in there-- and it seems like everyone is as heartbroken over Hedwig as I am.
