This fic has finally grown to be more than 100 pages long in Word. *collapses* Good God, I can't believe I've managed to keep a fic going for that long-- and it's nowhere near done yet.
Chapter 15-- in which Harry gets a wake-up call.

I wonder how much longer Harry and Hermione are going to dance about their feelings. I mean I don't expect a snog fest or anything, but they could at least bow down to the obvious. Of course the attack on the Grangers will set Harry back a bit I imagine.
Thanks for writing,
Matt

Also, I like how you are using Ron in this fic, strenthening their friendship, using him to ground Harry, being very much the "best mate" that we expect himm to be.
Poor Harry.

But now Hermione has to tell him that there's no way she's leaving him because she luuuurves him madly!
*cough*
Brilliant chapter. A little heartbreaking, but brilliant. Beautiful revelation, on Harry's part, but the poor thing, his guilt complex can't take all this.
You have to fix it. *pokes and pouts*

I'm going to fix it, I promise! In fact, the fixing-it part of the next chapter is already written and has been for months-- I just need to fill in the rest of the chapter! Glad you liked the revelation.

I dunno, there was just always this good flow, but a flow that was realistic and the seemed to fluctuate as you said. Moments which would upset Ron, let's say for example when he sees Harry and Hermione a bit close, but little by little it angers him less and less. That always made sense to me.
And yes, the rest of what you mentioned, trying to take Harry's mind off things, I did see all that. I suppose it's because now, the more I think on it, I belive this would have been something I felt Canon!Ron wad capable of, meanwhile you're always good to make him a step above that. So I guess it wasn't so much as a flux backwards as it was to the aspects of his character in the book which frustrate me.
They're so perfect. I love how you've made good use of Lupin. It's exactly what I would picture him doing for Harry.
