So glad to see an update from you! I love the story of the Seven Swans, although I agree with young Hermione. The kings were dumb. LOL! I like how this is unfolding. I hope you'll update more soon.

Love, love, love it. The way you come up with the most amazing conversations to showcase their personalities and problems...the way you weave in emotions so that they're always there, just under the surface, ready to break out. Love how Hermione researched PTSD. Love the story of her grandpa getting her into the ocean and the fairy tale and the oh-so-Hermione analysis of it.

And the end! He kissed her! *punches air with fist* Yes!!

Delightful. Just delightful.

Both the exploration of young!Hermione - very cute - and also Harry's introspection, his sudden discovery of what Hermione is. The H/Hr transition!

Her researching post-war trauma is a wonderful idea; I don't think I've ever come across it before. And OF COURSE it is something she would do! It makes her 'mind reading' both believable and also all the more admirable ... just the latest effort driven by her 'saving Harry thing'.

Okay. Time for this Harry to evolve from the selfish canon layabout and start giving back. 'Stay'. Hmmph. She's just admitted to having her own nightmares ... I hope he can maybe help HER out in turn. Plus reciprocate with some childhood memories and grow closer that way. Harry must have *some* funny/nice stories to tell, one hopes?
