It’s in watching them that I finally understood.

I wasn’t thrilled when they told me, to put it mildly.  Would you be thrilled to find out that your best friend is dating your ex-girlfriend?  I wouldn’t think so.

Sure, Hermione and I broke up months ago and to be honest, even when we were dating, most of the time it felt more like we were friends

Its been quite sometime since i have read a potter fanfiction due to the ending and all but this one brought back the good time and the real foundation of the trio's relationship.

There was a more important rule-probably the most important rule of friendship.

Friends wanted their friends to be happy.

This is the point where I punched the air and said "YES!"

I think you did a wonderful job of capturing Ron's voice. It read very much like the way I think his mind works and as you were building up to these sentences I was actively rooting for him to come to his senses and have an epiphany over the situation.

I also liked the description of Harry and Hermione just lying together. As you said, being together.

I really enjoyed this. Ron made significant, and possibly more importantly, believable progress. His initial reaction was understandable, but I was glad that he made it to being happy for them. It was also very nice that Harry and Hermione were straightforward with him rather than going behind his back.
