Summertime...

Summer is here and I'm lovin' it. Things with morleyroarly have ramped up and we're floating...very nice, very nice. She went to a regional burn, Scorched Nuts, this weekend with a whole bunch of the Pittsburgh crew and had a great time, but despite desperately wanting to go for a "first time" event (to help set the tone, of course), I managed to beg off and ( Read more... )

reading morleyroarly's work report on PIT airport development and reclamation opportunities.

Wait, what does she do? I ask because my little brother is an Urban Planner and it sounds like he might enjoy reading some of her work if she writes this sort of thing regularly.

She's a Geotechnical Engineer with a lot of GIS experience. Most of her work involves retaining walls and how to build foundations, but her first major project was this airport assessment.

This was actually one of our first big thunderstorms. Pittsburgh used to be *known* for thunderstorms and they just don't seem to happen all that often anymore. *sigh*
