I’m sorry my dear friend but I must insist that you revert your bliss back into the repugnant exaggerated melancholy we all grew to know and love because frankly your two (or so) years of living in utter misery rubbed off and though I have to admit that you seem to have stumbled across the foreign emotion some call happiness I must remind you that you aren’t the only one who was living in the pit of despair for what seemed like an eternity and you have now left me alone to wallow while you have disappeared into your new-found field of lilies -- at the very least you could make your conversion a little slower so as to give me time to catch up -- or you could find me my very own nice boy with “few more character flaws and a dark past” (and maybe a ferret)… or I could just realize happy is better (whatever happy is).

a ferret huh? rob looks like he might have a dark past... he came from a town called Kalamazoo for christ sake. and as for character flaws... well a severed head fettish is not exactly something you would boast in a personal add.

I am still here Kathy or have you forgotten me since the last time we spoke which was...12 seconds ago. In your misery I too will wallow and sink into my bed wishing for more than a pillow to keep me company. Don't you remember that you and I were once happy together on a dreary new years eve. The party is over now.
Rather than poetry you must move on to ask the deep questions that lie unanswered...how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?
