[ He loathes to leave his pet alchemist alone. That brat, the gears are always turning in his head, churning out ideas and thoughts that could easily twist their way against Envy. It's not something the monster cares for-- that fucking boy is too smart for his own good, but it's something Envy needs. He needs what the boy can make for him. And he's ( Read more... )

* He finishes up throwing out the last few stragglers out of his bar, locking up for the night. It was strange for the man to be wearings sunglasses, especially inside. He was always hidden behind them, and that shark grin of his.

The bar owner walks back down the stairs, shrugging his faux fur collar up on his broad shoulders before his eyebrows perch high up on his forehead. It was the sound of something being broken. The sound of something breaking did not please the homunculus. Not one bit.

Greed moves past the bar and towards the backroom, before he stops in the doorway, seeing a familiar face. It isn't one he was expecting to see in a long time, nor did he really want to see it in the first place. He narrows his violet eyes behind his dark glasses and frowns tightly before his lips twitch into a forced smile. *

Envy. What a surprise.

Really? Or didn't you think I could find you, if I wanted to?

[ Envy sneers, twisting that wide mouth into a disdainful shape as he idly kicks away a shard of glass. What a dingy little shithole, he thinks. Just the kind of place Greed would like. The urge to burn the fucking place to the ground tightens a knot in Envy's stomach.

He closes distance between them, standing close to the taller homunculus and tilting his head. ]

Same ugly bastard I remember. [ Envy arches up onto his toes to mockingly pat Greed on the face. ] What are you doing here, Greed?

* He looks to the broken glass on the floor in which Envy kicks and his frown returnms right to his face again. Just wonderful. Knowing his fellow homunculus, he didn't care what he destroys, just as long as he got what he wanted. Yep, Envy had not changed after all these years.

But all that broken glass, he thinks almost sadly. There went some of his profits.

Greed feels his eyebrow twitch in disgust at the close proximity of Envy and him patting his face like that.*

And you're still the same grotesque transvestite I remember. * His shark teeth almost glint in the dim light of the back room.* And I think that isn't any of your goddamn business, Envy. * Greed lets his teeth click with every word he pronounces, Envy's hand almost tempting to his dangerous teeth, to bite. *

It is my goddamn business, you fuck. [ Envy snaps abruptly, his voice a vicious little snarl as he bares teeth in Greed's face. He spits his words out hatefully. ] You're in my territory now, brother. I was here first.

[ With an aggravated motion, the shapechanger moves away, putting space between him and Greed. Greed. If there's a homunculus Envy resents, it's this one. He and Greed are the same-- they both crave and hunger for everything. The only difference is this: Greed gets what he wants.

Envy never does. ]

I don't want you ruining with my plans.
