1. Put your iTunes music library on shuffle and take the first 25 songs it gives you
2. Link to the lyrics
3. Let your friends assign you a song to write a drabble to (tell me if you want it specific to your/a specific pup or not)
4. Post this to your own journal

god it's such a pitiful selection )

It's the nature of not only their jobs but of the god damned multiverse. Always moving apart seemingly moments after finding each other again. They have their own ships to serve on, their own places to be, always moving on, waiting until the next time ( ... )

"Someday You Will Be Loved." Fitting for the McCoy syndicate, I think.

I recognize, like... none of these songs. :|

Jim likes to let herself go now and then. She's a little bit country and a whole lotta rock and roll, commanding attention to her presence even just by walking down a sidewalk. In the San Francisco nightlife, Bones learns, Jim is practically legendary, a name everyone knows, always with a story to tell. It doesn't surprise her in the least, but she still watches with a kind of awe at how much of a crazy party girl Jim could really be when she finally lets go.

"My old Academy stomping grounds," Jim explains, although she doesn't need to. The street is lined with anything and everything to satisfy a girl looking for a good time. Or for trouble. Frequently both. Bartenders and DJs and god knows exactly what kind of people already know her name, and not because she happens to be a bigshot captain.

Bones decides to stick close by, because there are a lot of perks that come with being the best friend of the queen of the most exciting downtown block. (And also in case she needs to pull the woman out of any trouble she's bound to

Oh, come on, Bones, you're totally a party girl underneath. Admit it.
