The Longest Week in Fandom

Jul 01, 2008 08:55

I'm binging on fic, both reading it and trying to write it. I'm looking at episode clips. I'm about to crumble and dig out my old Outpost Gallifrey password and go looking on their forums. I'm trying to distract myself by making more bead markers (sold a few, by the way--got my first Paypal payment). And I keep trying to tell myself that there'll ( Read more... )

I like Ten. I have moments of adoring Ten. But I completely know what you mean about liking Nine, and to be honest I think I may still like him more than Ten. But Ten will grow on you, given the chance. (Starting at the beginning with him helps a bunch, too.)

And is it Saturday yet??

Avidbeader, I seriously feel you. I can't concentrate for the LIFE of me at the day job. I'm an absolute mess. I keep rewatching Turn Left and The Stolen Earth, hoping to catch something I haven't before...

I'm a real big fan of that vid you posted. You're right, the cutting is just so clean!

To enable you on your binge, I've included the following vids:

Oh My God with Pink

What the Doctor Tells Martha during Human Nature

And then this one to keep your mind off of Doctor Who! Try not to laugh so much!
Jumping Jacks?

Hope this helps!

Mr. Bead is watching a video podcast, so I can't dive into these links now that I'm answering comments, but I think I've already seen the second one?

Even Mr. Bead was complimentary of the "Untouched" vid, and since video work is part of his job he usually has something snarky to say about the fanvids I show him.

i loved nine, but ten does grow on you. and at baycon, we did discuss why nine was soshort a timeframe, and the reasoning for each ep. but it still doesn't make it better.

:)

but fandom and MV are always awesome!

I know. Fandom will always be there to work around and ignore canon. I'm just feeling the suspense like so many others.
