This drawing of a “bijou” apartment building, by Palmer and Turner, seems to have been entrusted to a young architect. Could it have been Ilarion Tomashevsky or Vladimir Dronnikoff, who had joined the firm by then? Thank you Katya Knyazeva for writing about old Shanghai Buildings. One of my relatives lived in Majestic Apartment for decades. I wonder if I can use some of your old photos in some article in chinese about his recollections of the building and its residents.
