I am trying to search my ancestry. My mother left us as children in Australia and went to Hong Kong where she married Alexander Zimmerman. I have found that Alex was born in Shanghai to Sonia and Henry who lived at 893 Avenue Joffre. Does anyone have any information about them? Alex was captured by the Japanese at Stanley HK in 1942.
