A french author, Guy Debord, shared the same opinion in his book "Commentaries..." in the 80's.

I found Jean Levi's analysis - which quotes Debord - very convincing: https://www.parislike.com/EN/happenings/17-LEVI.html

A very perceptive article! All genuine historical monuments were destroyed in China during the Cultural Revolution. They had nothing of any historical value to attract tourists.
In 2007 the Dalai Lama visited Angela Merkel. China stated there would be repercussions. There was a Terracotta Warrior exhibition in Berlin Museumin later that year. I read at the time that that the museum did carbon dating and found them to be fake. However, China denied they had lent the figures. The museum was made to take responsibility for fraud.

Yes! Every time these figurines traveled outside of China they failed the scientific scrutiny. And the high level of secret service-like activity around them confirms how important they are for nation-building.

That hanger is HUGE! So they must have built it before the 'excavations' were complete: how did they know where to site it exactly? I'm no builder, but I assume this structure would have required foundations? Concrete? And of course heavy machinery including cranes to lift those massive iron beams into place? No wonder the terracotta warriors are all in bits and shards!
