As my childhood memory, I felt so strange after it was pulled down, even now. "There should have been a skybridge"...lol.

Do you also remember the pedestrian sky walk at the intersection of Nanjing Road and Tibet Road?

For sure but not that impressive, as have been there much less often. Even being a local, the area I'm familiar with is incredibly small (moslty along Shi Meng Er road). Therefore very grateful for your work, especially those based on Russian archive which would be otherwise inaccessible to us.
