So, if you've played Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, you're probably aware that it's basically a slightly less cracky and single player version of World of Warcraft (no, really). If you haven't played it, you're missing out because, well, it's crack. I logged nearly thirty hours on my first game, which I incidentally (and accidentally) saved over an ( Read more... )

yes it's that good! Between my roommate and I we have probably logged 80+ hours, since there are four of us using the system.

I assume you are on the US servers on wow? I just started playing it again. I know what it can be like to be so absorbed in the game.

Not anymore - I haven't played for nearly a year and a half. I was....actually I don't remember what server I was on last, I played musical chairs a lot. Eldre'Thalas was my first server though :D

I've finished everything on the main continent (except the tasks, which I think some of them can't be finished) and am on the right side of the world now. XD;; it's fun! I recently re-specced to get blacksmithing since I heard that the best armor is from blacksmithing (I'm a powergamer :/) but I haven't really bothered collecting materials. Already done all the Faction quests, they were awesome.

Not sure if there's a level cap, but if there is, I'm probably close to it. :/

O_O What level are you? And yes, blacksmithing is fucking AMAZING. I'm doing Faction quests now instead of main game content...I did House of Ballads (I'm married to the Maid of Windmere now apparently? She calls me my love....) and I unintentionally started the Arcane Faction questline (I wanted my damn backpack so I got into Ysa earlier than normal...I mean I'm pretty sure being under level 16 is earlier than normal anyway.) which is kinda hilarious because I don't have a single point in Sorcery. (Oh ya, the only downside about blacksmithing that I recall is that you only get to use epic gems when crafting robes :( this made me sad ( ... )

mm... I think I'm level 35-36 right now. Lost count. I did all the side/faction quests I could get my hands on before doing the main game content. I've finished warsworn, traveler, ballads and arcana. Ahaha... I chose to kill the Maid. Oh well. The outcome's the same for that one. I haven't actually made anything I really like from blacksmithing to be honest.

Hmm... I have a lot of fiction on livejournal, it would take months and I don't really want to spam the people who are subscribed to my Ao3 account with old stuff. If you had any particular fic in mind I don't mind uploading it. ^^;; Though preferably not anything that's also already up on FF.net.

I totally didn't know you were on ffn! Mainly we wanted the Blade stuff - of that mostly the one long fic you have, because we couldn't find it on ao3. My roomie and I are huge drake/king fans :D Thank you (in advance).

Wow, nice. Ya, that happens, with the crafting here. You have to hunt around for all the components you really want, like +exp and +gold (my two faves, besides health). And since you can use gems it would probably help to have maxed sagecrafting, which is why crafting is on a backburner right now - I figure when I'm ready to start serious crafting I can do a temp respec. I'm going to kill the maid next play - in RPGs I usually play an 'evil' game and a 'good' game, this one is the evil. I had really fun doing that in DA:O...soooo many choices!
