So i heard a rumor on OT that La Vics (across from school) caught fire today, and after asking Craig who lives in the Colonnades, found out it's true. Such saddening news, especially to those still in school.... oh well at least the other location is safe.

A kitchen fire in downtown San Jose Thursday night sent diners outdoors, authorities said.

Shortly before 8 p.m., several businesses reported a fire in the 100 block of East San Carlos Street, according to the San Jose Fire Department. The restaurant, reportedly La Victoria taqueria, was already evacuated when firefighters arrived.

The two-alarm fire was under control by 9 p.m. and there were no injuries.
