At FAO Schwarz

A few weeks ago I stopped by FAO Schwarz on Fifth Avenue and spent some time looking around the doll section. I guess they no longer sell Pullips or Blythes there, or at least I didn't see them. I never did go when it was first announced that they were selling Pullips there. Since I didn't see my favorite dolls around, I just casually looked at the ( Read more... )

those lego statues look awesome. :)

wow, Radcliffe's coming to Broadway? crazy! I saw him when I was in England and it was surprising how, for the most part, mature everyone was (and yes, the fans were majority young women and a few guys).

All the info I read was from last year, and I visit Broadway forums, though not all the time. I haven't seen any contradictory news yet. Here's a link to one of the latest news things I could find.

I remember reading about your seeing Equus in your journal. Do you think it's worth seeing? I hope that the audience can behave themselves. It irks me a bit when people do/say immature things while watching a play. I have heard some things about fans doing things during "The Boy From Oz" to get Hugh Jackman's attention (he would constantly break the fourth wall and comment on latecomers, for instance) and ladies shouting at inappropriate times when Aiken has appeared on stage during "Spamalot" (which bothers regular theatergoers)...

That depends... I'm not a big play junkie... I love musicals but "serious" dark, psychological-themed plays is a little turn off for me. The first half of the play felt slow, but the second half got interesting. The British audience behaved themselves perfectly as I recall. I worry about an American audience though. That sucks about the other celebrity plays. :/

Thank you for your opinion. I'm not much into straight plays (that term sounds weird to me) myself. I think there's only 3 I've seen just based on my own interest and because I wanted to. I think if the reviews are good I might go see it.
