Awww this is so nice. And this is exactly the kind of break up I would want Tony and Pepper to have if they had to be apart, sweet and amicable and no bad feelings.

Glad you liked it! I love the Tony/Pepper pairing, but I also see so much potential for it to blow up in their faces. In my head-cannon, if they're going to split, I'd like to think they'll both be mature enough to do it on speaking terms.

You got the point of this exactly, it wasn't meant to be as much about Tony and Pepper's relationship failing as it was that Tony had finally found his place in amongst this collection of crazy, wonderful, broken people.

Bit of column A and a bit of column B on the Westchester thing. It's the second richest county in New York State (since I was a legal assistant at a real-estate law firm for a few years, I'm well versed in where the most expensive properties in NY are), so it seemed like if the Starks were going to have a New York mansion that wasn't right in New York City itself, that would be the most likely place.

Thank you! I was chuffed to see you liked it. I didn't even realise you were on LJ until I saw you around this fest since I've been reading your fic over on AO3.

I'm pretty sure I've read and left kudos on about 95% of your completed Tony/Loki fic, and what I've not gotten to so far, I'll get to eventually, lol. Yours was amongst the first FrostIron stuff corcalamus and I found when we started looking for it after seeing Avengers. :)

1964 1/2 Mustang *Drools* Tony is right about it being a work of art. It's been my dream car since I've known what a dream car was.

I really like the interaction and the mix of humor and angst. It keeps the fic balanced. The friendships ring true as does the way that they support each other. It was nice to see such even handed treatment of Pepper.

Candy Apple Red 60s era Mustangs were my first car crush in my teens, couldn't resist slipping that in there with Tony given the collection of cars we've seen from him so far in the movies. :)

Also, I generally profess Dramedy to be my favourite genre, so I'm glad you think I got the balance right in this fic!

That's really sweet. I like how the break-up is kind of smooth and how everyone seems to know exactly what Tony needs.
