Hey, anyone have any long fic recommendations that aren’t romance orientated?? Not that I don’t love romance in the story but I’d like to read some fic’s where it’s not the main focus of the whole story ( Read more... )

If you don't mind self-reccing, I've got a pretty long (almost 100K so far) Loki-centric gen WIP on AO3: Chaos Reign.

I highly recommended the SHIELD Codex series by KhamanV. Loki-Centric. This is the first arc of the series, and complete in itself. There are 14 stories in this arc, some short, some long, all of them excellent. (She continued the series in later stories.)

Based on the idea that Frigga was so protective of her son, Thor, that she won't let anyone else near him. To ensure the prince will not be lonely, the Allfather commissions a golem to keep him company. Loki becomes Thor's closest friend and confidant, but then Thor grows up.

Both are really good in my opinion, and focus on family dynamics rather than romance.
