Natasha isn’t heartless. She is just… no longer able to completely feel. Feel happy, feel sad, feel angry. Every single feeling is now catalogued, manipulated and acted out. No one suspects a thing, because she’s Natasha. Russian spy, grifter, assassin. Hyper vigilant ( ... )

OP here! My heart is breaking so good, I can't even begin to describe it.

Thank you so much for this fill, I can't wait to know how it continues <3

It's sort of turning into a 5 people who didn't help and +1 when someone who did

She wakes up in bed short of breath, not screaming yet. The dream wasn’t vivid enough. There was burning and fire and she was falling.

“Natasha?” Clint weakly taps on the door, thank god she locked it. “You okay? You were screaming.”

“Was I?” She calls out, voice sounding raspier. Was she? She can’t remember anymore.

“Yeah… Tash?” He never calls her that, unless she was in dire danger. “Tash? Can you please open the door?”

“I’m fine Clint. Just go back to bed.”

“Not unless you tell me what happened.”

“Nothing! Nothing happened. I had a bad dream.”

“You don’t get bad dreams.”

“Clint. Please let it go?”

Perhaps it was the wavering tone of her voice, or maybe it was the slight whimper at the end of her sentence that made Clint decide to leave her alone. He knows her better than anyone, and if he knows to leave her alone, it is best that she is left alone.

The last part is probably going to take me a while. It will probably be deep and profound and perhaps heart wrenching. :P

sldhg;dhgoahgweaoag, the feels, oh the feels! This entire fill was lovely and sweet and wonderful, and I love Natasha's interactions with her teammates. And her helping Loki out and them finding common ground was perfect. *Deposits oodles of internets*
