I just turned in my lottery choices for next semester.

I will only get four of these (plus 2 credits of journal/moot court), and they're in the order I want 'em in (in other words, I'm hoping for the top 4), so we'll see . . .

There's a Water Law class that sounds more fun to me, on subjects like that, but . . . reading court cases on land use planning? *yawn*

I am working a state project having to do with Native Sacred Place protection and preservation. Land use law, which never interested me before, fascinates me now. Weird.

Ha! Similar situation with me and water-rights law: my aunt is in the middle of a situation with a developer trying to drain the swamp they own, which is in turn dropping the water levels in the lake she lives on quite precipitously. So water law is now fascinating to me.

If I get into the land use planning class, I'll pass on the interesting tidbits. :)
