-melts- You've reminded me why I love Mickey so much. (And also why I need to acquaint myself with Ace.) Your Mickey is so wonderful, with all his insecurities still there, but also with his strengths. Oh, and the whole thing is just brilliant, from the very first line to the last (the contrast between them is so wonderful; beginning with rain and November and ending with out-of-place (yet perfect) newness and hope... if that makes sense). Lovely, lovely, lovely.
