For all I said in the pacing for Part 1, I rather like the gradual unfolding here. As before the descriptions are so vivid, and you get a real sense of the world through the viewpoint character's eyes. The way her memories grew stronger as the moon waned was nicely done.
Azula's collapse and her inner turmoil about her defeat to Zuko ratchet up the suspense that I was complaining about missing, so that was a good way to vary the pace.
One thing I noticed, about three scenes in this part end with Katara getting the last word. While this isn't bad, it became noticeable by the end of the part. Maybe that says more about Azula's total lack of social life at this point than anything, but the Meaningful Last Line is only meaningful so many times.
Another well-written part that I enjoyed reading. Moving on to the next!
