And y'know, for all that you thought the pimping on your FF author page might not do much for my spinoff...I've seen a steady uptick in hits since you did that, with another recent wave that seems to have coincided with the reccing here. So yay for you, and much gratefulness from me for the spillover!

(PS Sporky - in the interest of getting MORE PIMPAGE going, can there be multiple chains of recs going on at once? Or do you want things to stay nice and linear?)

Well, I think that things will be hard to keep track of for me... but I can also see how it would make the comm more lively and increase participation. Let's see how the first ten posts go, and I'll consider a second, parallel chain of recs. How does that sound?
