Well here I sit. Survived another year. Didn't quite think I'd ever make it this far. Sure fifty five isn't all that old as my many older friends and family like to tell me, but today I started thinking about my old friends and peers from my working days and you know? It's hard to believe isn't it? My turn comes next Friday, the 26th.I know Eldri's day is right around the corner too. When I was a teen for some reason I never thought I would live to see 30 (I read somewhere that it is common for old souls to feel "close to death" early on in life).
