Some of you have already read the seven posted chapters of my ongoing story "Promises to Keep", which begins in the first season of the show, and so far has mostly taken place aboard Zuko's ship.  Well, guess what?  I've started yet another ongoing story, that's also set in the first season of the show and takes place mostly aboard Zuko's ship:  "

Will you be continuing Promises to Keep?

Yes, I will; I'm just currently massively stuck on how to do one critical scene in the next chapter. I had it plotted out months ago and thought it would work out fine, but while actually writing it I realized that what I had in mind just wouldn't work without completely violating either canon characterization for someone important, or the laws of physics. Grrmmph.
(sigh) I might end up having to rewrite portions of the last two chapters, in order to make the next chapter work and keep the plot on track. But once I figure out how to get out of the corner I've painted myself into, the next chapter will be done and posted.
