Wonderful AU. I don't think I've ever read a story where Toph was the avatar, an interesting concept actually. Would love to read more to this universe. Wonderfully written.

I highly recommend Damascus by drakensis. I need to go back and read it again because I only got half way through it and it's awesome. Really, this is a poor imitation of that fic. Best of all, it's got Mai/Toph friendship which I love with all of my heart. The downside is that it's been dormant for over a year and it might be dead.
