When Ursa saw Zuko for the first time in six and half years, she was left dizzy by the rush of emotions that flooded through her. She was deliriously happy. She was sad. She was amazed by the changes in him. She was relieved that he was alive. She was angered by the scar. Hugging him close, tears streaming down both their cheeks, she reveled in the fact that he was right there, in front of her, happy and whole and safe.
When she finally got her emotions under control, she pulled away from him slightly so she could look at him. “I am so happy to see you again,” she said. “I missed you every day and I never stopped thinking of you.”
