Once again one of my great ideas turns out to have already been thought of by someone else. Yes, Jill there really is such a think as Libertarian Socialism and minds such as cognitive theorist and philosopher Noam Chomsky are among Libertarian Socialism’s most notables. Capitalist (and right-libertarian) principles concentrate economic power in the hands of those who own the most capital.

Libertarian socialism aims to distribute power, and thus freedom, more equally amongst members of society.

A key difference between libertarian socialism and free-market libertarianism is that advocates of the former generally believe that one's degree of freedom is affected by one's economic and social status, whereas advocates of the latter focus on freedom of choice. This is sometimes characterized as a desire to maximize "free creativity" in a society in preference to "free enterprise.

I think that part of LS makes sense with "our" LS ideas, yes?

I think so! Yes! Yes!

We need a manifesto. Since you are clearly the superior thinker here, I nominate you to write it. I can dash off the occasional pamphlet and rouse the rabble as needed. I am more of the pamplhleteer type - you are the brains of the outfit.

This equality and freedom would be achieved through the abolition of authoritarian institutions that own and control productive means as private property,[
