I am in love with Kaoru vers.4. The text is amusing, but what I love about it is the way it looks so much like it's been painted. Plus, the ripples remind me of lake water, and I don't know why, but that just makes me happy.

The fourth Die version also reminds me of space. I love that touch of surrealism.

/blah blah blah, analyzing wallpapers. ♥

That's all thanks to the smudge tool, and my inability to decide what to do with the background XD So I kind of smudged it all out and it now looks like a painting. I kinda like the result too, truth to be told.

Thank you so much! Your comment made me insanely happy for some reason, especially the analyzing part! ;)

I love to analyze wallpapers. I know that, essentially, I could do the same for icons, but they are often too small to see what's really being done, and they will come in huge batches. So unless I see something that really strikes me as amazing, I feel overwhelmed if I want to break them down, you know?

Basically, I see wallpapers as a new medium, nearly comparable to more traditional art, in the sense that you can analyze it and see if there's any inspiration. It's obviously not the same (I don't want anyone to think that I'm saying paintings or what have you = wallpaper!) but it's interesting nonetheless.

In other words, I'm a big nerd, but please continue to make wallpapers if you feel the inspiration hit! ♥ They're all lovely.

I know what you mean, since I sometimes have the urge to analyze graphics as well, and I'm always happy to hear what people think of the things I get done while working with paintshop. Sometimes you can analyze icons as well, but often not and the fact that they do come in huge batches make the impressions kind of crash down on you until you don't really have the energy to start getting to the impressions individual icons left on you.

haha, and I would say that being a big nerd is just a big plus XD At least when I look at it from my perspective as someone who makes graphics, it's always wonderful to hear people analyzing or telling their views! Which happens far too seldom unfortunately, but then again it might just be because of me too XD And thank you! I certainly will not let these be the last wallies I make ;) <3

Looking at your work always makes my heart skip some beats. Excellent work again; you got SUCH an amazing hand for colours and taking the right pictures with the right angle, putting them together with the right background and simply make the whole thing SHINE and people like me smiling like crazy*sigh*
Oh my. SO good, dear. SO goddamn good *__*
