Nope, back when I was hardcore into LOTR my pairing was Aragorn/Legolas. I drabbled in Elladan/Elrohir and Elladan/Legolas... but never posted anything of it. I read more than that of course, Library of Moria introduced me to very pairing out there.
I finally get the meaning of hardcore as the way you said it here.
Well Aragorn and Legolas are so hot and romantic together, I understand.
It would be nice to read the twins and Elladan with Legolas one day. I wasn't into the twins cause I read the books recently and PJ took them away from us when making the movie, but then there was this great author that wrote a twin/Legolas fanfic called 'An act of boredom', it never been the same, I absolutely love the twins too.
If you are not hardcore about lotr anymore, are you writing about something else?
Maybe he took them out. A lot of people think that the two elves remaking the sword in ROTK (extended edition) is them. I'm inclined to think that :P
I still love LOTR and write it when I get a request, unless I'm not inspired by the prompt, but for the most part I have been sucked into the world of Twilight slash. I post everything here on my journal and quite a bit on my ff.net profile.
