Drabble: Where, oh where?
Pairing: Jasper/Seth
Prompt: Missing a sock
Every now and then there was an event that the shifters had to dress up for. They always hated them, finding the clothes uncomfortable against their warm skin. But this was such an occasion, Jacob was graduating high school and Seth knew he couldn’t miss that. If only he could find the math to the sock that was already on his foot.
Seth scratched his head as he looked around the basement room he shared with his imprint, Jasper. The sock was nowhere to be found. He had searched the sock drawer, the dirty clothes bin, practically everywhere! Seth snapped his fingers as he thought of a place he hadn’t looked. Walking over to the bed he dropped down to the floor and looked under it… there was something at the head on nearly the other side. Seth wiggled under the bed until only his calves and feet were visible. That was how Jasper found him.
Jasper raised an eyebrow at his little love’s position. “Seth? What are you doing?” He questioned.
Seth stilled and Jasper couldn’t help but chuckle as the other’s embarrassment filled him. “Um… I can’t find my sock…”
“And you are under the bed because…?”
“…Because I’ve looked everywhere else? There is something in the corner that might be it…” Seth said as he reached out again.
Jasper walked around to his side of the bed. Bending over he picked up the item Seth was reaching for. “Would it not have been easier to just come to this side?” He asked. Against Seth’s embarrassment filled him.
Seth crawled back out from under the bed, dusting himself off so as he stood. “Oh sure, do things the easy way.”
Jasper smiled. “It’s not your sock.”
“What?!” Seth looked around. “Where is that damn thing?!” Jasper laughed.
