Poll Getting a Cat

You left out, "No! Why would I possibly want one of those nasty things?" Poor Greg just cleaned up after one of them, making a cat seem even less desirable.

That said, I said "Yes! Cute!" because, well... I want a cat. :/ But, I remember having all of my clothes peed on because I refused to let one sleep on my face. So, maybe no cat for me till I have a big enough place for it to sleep down the hall.

That's part of the reason I'm going for something more personable than a snake. I really liked Hiro, but he wasn't terrribly good at complaining when I wasn't treating him well. I made sure to pick a loud one from the shelter ;-)

My guess would be that they are mostly just being 'pro-cat', not 'pro-you and cat'. They just weren't making the distinction.
