I think a Slayer's immune system would have the ability to fight off the pathogen. The question becomes if the process can be replicated in regular people. :) Thank you!

The Colonel seems to have a good head on his shoulders, which isn't always a requirement for officers. ;) Perhaps this is why Blount is a safe haven for people.
A lumbar puncture, aka spinal tap, is considered invasive. It has some rare, but serious, side affects, but more often than not the change in CSF pressure can cause a severe headache. Poor Buffy.
There's a reason Blount is doing well and I'm trying my best to explain the hows and whys of that.
I thought they were good turn of events. A chance at a cure would be something any survior would jump at and they're wanting to share information rather than just demand the Summers do as they bid. Those are all points in their favor and I'm starting to think the Initiative really left a bad taste in everyone's minds regarding the military and doctors. ;)
