A good Hank and Buffy? *happy sigh* While TWD is not a fandom I know much about, I really love this glimpse into Hank and Buffy.

Thanks, Ava.

I've always thought Hank had the potential to be a good character and Whedon seemed to squandered that for what always felt like manufactured drama. This series will focus, at first, on events that are pre-series so all you really need to know is that there are zombies. :)

You're very welcome!

I love it when you take a character I don't really care about one way or another and actually make me like him. I'm looking forward to actually getting the meet Hank outside of Joss' influence. :D

It's always fun to take a 'guest star' type character and shine a light on them. (Plus I'm on a dad kick, which I think is to be expected.) I think it'll be fun to write their interaction though. :)

*smish*

Oh dear how will Joyce react and Go Hank. I loved Buffy's reaction. I can see her doing it. It was so Buffy. I can remember Joyce saying sorry maybe she did but I realle can't remember.

I love stories where Hank is a good guy and Buffy gets a father who loves her.

I think Joyce would be just as remorseful as Hank, but this series will be focused on their father/daughter dynamic and Joyce's interaction with the plot/characters will be minimal. Though Joyce did apologized for reacting badly at the end of season two she doesn't mention her reaction before Sunnydale and honestly her apology comes off as more of an attack so I found it lacking - I still love Joyce to pieces though.

I think Hank got the shaft in later seasons, as did Giles, by the writers.
