tell me about it. that's what I mean. it's just such a mixed weird thing. I was sooooo drawn to them and then- ack- they're taxidermied!?? but they're so cute! my eyes glaze over...hypnotized by the cuteness...but they're dead!!- how did they die?! agh. I think that's the point of the art... I asked the gallery owner how they died....and he said that the artist just buys them already taxidermied on ebay from all different places/sellers.(!!??!!)so my guess is that most are from hunters and some died naturally and were taxidermied.it's reallllly disturbing.
Hi there! I am simply amazed at your patience and attention to detail. The birthday cake has such a sense of depth and colour balance. Incredible work! K
hi kosher! oh that is not my work- I am just now making posts recounting interesting things I saw at the artfairs in miami by other artists. the art you mention is by Takako Kimura- and it's really just a collection of actual bought stickers which are arranged to form the larger shapes you see in the second (full) photo. I think it's more about obsessive collecting. but of course I enjoy it immensely in a childlike blissful way.

I liked the squirrels until I realized from your comments that they were real under the suits.
