hello you:)
yep I probably would. I had recently started 'The Mobius Strip: Dr. August Mobius's Marvelous Band in Mathematics, Games, Literature, Art, Technology, and Cosmology' by the same author!
now all I have to do is find that lil portal that opens time packets so I can enter a nice 'slow-feeling space'...savor and devour a book and then return to the next minute. you haven't seen it have you? I think it was just a little more sparkly than the regular air spots...?;)

Well, I just so happen to be very familiar with the 'slow-feeling space' as time-distortion is a neat hypnotic phenomenon to play with.

Having listened to various hypnotists go on about it over and over, I have kinda gotten it a little hooked-up in various areas of my life... though I am not good enough at it to put myself in the state at will.

But I think if I had a scenario I wanted slow-feeling space in and just recalled various times when time was slow (standing in line, looking at the clock in school as it inched-inched-inched its way to 3:15pm) and went back and forth, back and forth, it'd get hooked up automatically after a while. :)

I'd really like an experience of that super-slow time athletes talk about. I have never seen something really fast going in total slo-mo. That would be awesome.

Clifford Pickover is fun. Some of his books need a little more editing, I think, but... fun none-the-less!

pickover's a funny guy, i've read Surfing Through Hyperspace and Chaos in Wonderland... had to get rid of some of his other books that didn't make a whit of sense of me (keys to infinity?)

coooool! i'll have to check out the hypercube house sometime soon. they've blocked a lot of the fun stuff from work (sl, myspace, facebook) i'm just grateful that i can still get into lj and cloudpad (knock on wood)
