Year

Jan 29, 2008 14:33

I'm really intrigued by this "year meme" that's going around, but I don't know when I'll have time to write something up, nor do I want to exacerbate this recurring pain in my wrist. =(
Oh, and no one has assigned me a year. =P

I'm difficult that way. ;)

And I'm not sure I remember 1992. I was a freshman in high school and horribly socially awkward. Yes, more so than now.

I haven't seen the year meme yet, but uh 2002?

It basically consists of "pick a specific year and write about it. When people comment, assign him/her a year." I'm not aware if there are additional rules like "a year more than X years away".

Is there a rule that says it has to be a year in which you were alive and experienced it? If not, I pick 1843 *g*

Presumably not, if you were a believer in reincarnation and past lives.

Year meme? I haven't seen that one yet.

No typing for you until your wrist feels better! But then you can do 2007 ;)

From your OP: "write something up". You could also write something down. If you don't like it, you could tear it up, but the Berlin wall was torn down, at Mr. Reagan's urging. A nice tonic might fix you up, as would a visit to the doctor, yet neither of those would fix you down.

When I was younger, I was always confused when people said an alarm was "going off" when it was ringing, because that made no sense to me. I guess it still doesn't.

Were I verbally berating you, you might say I was "going off" on you, but you could also say I was "going on and on".

This language we gots is confusing me up and down. ;)
