This reminded me of a piece I came across a couple of years of ago. I saved it because it moved me but I think it got left behind when I was booted out of work. I won't do it justice but the thought is there. I'm not a poet just an engineer who appreciates the real genius of nature.
I wish reclaim the concrete landscape And return it to the unkept wilderness from whence it came. I would do this not with machines but with my hands Digging and pounding until only the energy filled earth remained. I would then sit still and naked Until the wilderness crept upon me and consumed me Then I would be home and safe Surrounded by the only technology I required.
