I love weekends that are filled with talking over tea with sister/mother/Thijs/grandmother <3, eating delicious dinners, visiting my cousin + boyfriend's new apartment, watching Idols & de Lama's, reading Anna Karenina at a startlingly slow pace, dreaming about moving in with Thijs and hanging above my mother's pans in order to discover the secret ( Read more... )

Hmm. I hope things work out for Thijs - if not on the trip then in the future, you know? I hope he finds what works for him, whether it ends up being reporting or photography or whatever else. He seems like a sweet guy.

I guess it's good that Thijs gets a chance to see how it works? Gives him a chance to see if it's what he should be doing etc.

I have two weeks off as well! Though yeah, also got a couple of assignments to complete.

In which way does Stockholm sound bad -- like it's not anything for him, or is it a feeling that something bad will happen? Anyway, I hope things work out. I saw some of his photography, it was beautiful. (Can't find the link anymore.)
