On Animal Abuse

This is one of the many reasons I'm a vegetarian. This as well.

I'm nearly sickened with people who eat meat coming from those animals when I see those pics.

It's so strange, people know what's happening out there in the bio-industry but they just don't careThe world deserves something better than us disgusting, selfish, violent humans ( Read more... )

i am not amused

So then they die. I agree that bio-industry is bad and if I can help it, I won't eat that kind of meat. But hey, simply shouting that it's bad and that you won't eat it doesn't help a thing, either. Unless you're actually taking action, being a vegetarian isn't that much better than eating meat. Those animals are not going to get a better life because a few people refuse to eat them. So because you don't eat meat your whole life, two cows won't be eaten. Well, they will simply not be born. If there is no demand for the meat, the animals won't be bred. You haven't saved an animal, nor have you bettered the life of one ( ... )

Shit, moet eten. More soon.

Actually, I'm fine with hunting myself. The animals they take are mostly grown animals, they've lived, they've been outside their whole life, they've been free...

But when animals are born and bred and kept in cages their whole life - now that disturbs me. (Even though I'm on a farm like that :/ but our sheep are free for about 2/3 of the year, so, well...) I hate the meat industry, personally. But it's not anything anyone can stop. We can only fight for more rights to the animals before their lives end.

But the fur industry - that should be stopped! Fake fur looks just as the real thing, and it's just as soft as the real thing... but here, also, I'm sort of fine with it of the animals are taken in nature... but when they're born and bred, and lived their lives in cages on 1*2 metres... it's disgusting ( ... )

It kinda surprised me that you're not really against fur if it's from animals who lived a free life. Because that means they're going to get killed because of someone else's desire to have a nice winter-coat.

And I think there's a difference between hunting by men and animals, although I really can't stand the animal/animal-hunting as well. But hey, they have a proper reason. I feel humans don't.

Hmm. Well, I don't completely tolerate it... wearing fur in our time is completely and utterly unnecessary and shallow, in my eyes. I understand that people did that for a couple of hundred years ago and earlier... after all, it was necessary then. But now... my vision on it is kind of splitted, I guess. I don't like that people kill animals for fur, I hate it. But if the animals are free, it's not as bad as if they're in cage. Hope that makes sense.
