I wrote a letter to the editor about the whole Nancy Pelosi calling protesters "an ugly campaign" and "un-American" thing. Because I have rarely felt as insulted by Washington as I did after I read her op-ed piece. I haven't sent it yet, because I predictably got cold feet last night after I wrote it. It is not un-American to protest.

And it is not un-American to raise your voice in order to be heard above those that are attempting to silence it.

My parents went to the one here in Tampa (one of the first meetings labeled by the media as "violent") and yes, while there was ONE isolated injury out of the 1000+ people that attended, the majority are simply Americans demanding that their voices be heard.
