oh dear, this fic is just lovely :'D the description of the setting was really believable and beautiful, and I LOVED Holmes' declaration of love without the single word 'love' in it. very Holmes :D

Far be it from Sherlock Holmes to actually say how he feels... beneath him, and all that ;)

Thanks for reading, and so glad you liked!!!

Oh oh oh! *spins in circles* Retiree!Fic! Love it, love it (love autumn too, wish we had a proper fall in my neck of the woods). I feel ya on the prematurely aging joints, John! It's a pain! Lovely angst with a happy ending, thanks for sharing. :)

Can you believe the cottage I've picked out happens to have an abandoned apiary on the grounds? Seems another retired bloke had one commissioned when he bought the place back in 1904. The house agent informs me he left behind a genuine Stradivarius, which comes with the house, as well.

I giggled! There's probably a chest of manuscripts somewhere, provided by this mysterious previous owners loved one 0_~

Hee! Spinning in circles is FTW :D I'm flattered beyond words this little fic had that effect on you! *grins madly*

Oh, god. Please don't feed the plot bunnies any ideas about what may or may not be secreted away in that cottage, because I have absolutely no willpower to resist them... :)
