maizy's birthday is coming up on monday.  it is hard to believe it's been 13 years since i scooped this little ball of love and sass up and felt the world move just a tiny little bit.

Maizy has been a special member of our family since we brought her home. I feel truly lucky to have witnessed the special bond that exists between the two of you. I remember well how upset she would get when you would return to school after a visit home. It was clear that she waited to see you return.

Happy Birthday, Maizy! Hope you enjoyed the birthday card I sent you. Thank you for all the joy and love you give to Brook and to all of us!
