:) it takes as long to get to philly from chicago as it does to get to dc. which is to say, about 11 hours assuming i don't run into bad traffic. this is why it's likely that if i do stay in pa, it'll be western pa. that doesn't mean i can't visit anyway.

you said you "will be" living there... are we talking about late july and early august? because that's when my trip is.

I'll be living there as of this weekend, actually. I'm subletting a studio apt for three months, then getting a proper place in the fall in Philly. Let me know if you want to come! Maybe I can wrangle up our old letters and we can read them to each other in annoying teenage voices and cringe at how retarded we were!

where are you camping for free? everywhere I camped cost like $12.

glacier park costs $6, which is... almost free.
the campgrounds within yellowstone cost no less than $12, but there are camping sites north of yellowstone that i'll probably stay in. i haven't seen any indication of cost for those campsites.
the badlands are free.
