10 lbs is a GREAT start! It's all about learning good habits.
I myself went from 170 lbs to 120 lbs over the course of a year or so. My weight has been consistently hovering arounf 135 lbs over the last couple years since I haven't been exercising, but I totally learned great eating habits that have kept me from gaining back most of that weight.
