To be fair I started both in 2008. Also one I had to read for classes by Monday and the other is due back at the library, so I had deadlines to work with as well!

how was the Coupland book? i've only read JPod of his stuff and it wasn't very good - was this one better?

I ALSO read The Bell Jar this year. And The Crying of Lot 49! Oh God what did you think of that one? I am falling ridiculously in love with Thomas Pynchon (I'm reading V. now).
