It's under 500 words so I'm just posting it in a comment because I'll ... feel more legit that way. IDK. Anyway, there's not a lot going on, but Claire has a lot of ~feelings~ so you get that instead.
They were talking again. The ~adults~ were talking, and Claire was barely allowed to be in the goddamn room while they were doing it. Nathan had come by and brought that whore Tracy and they'd promised to go find out about Pinehearst. At first, Elle wanted to go with them, get another shot at getting her ability removed, but Peter had stopped her. Peter was telling her it was a bad idea because Claire was waiting a room away with her arms folded over her chest like a petulant child. From where she was sitting, she could see Peter putting a comforting if distant hand on Elle's shoulder and promptly jerking it back when her electricity went off. Sure, he'd like to be there for her, but he didn't have it in him to be the hero anymore. Not in the way Elle needed it. So, the fact that Elle was going to him and not Claire was

I absolutely loved this. I could see Claire just fuming over the whole scene in my head. And her being confused by Elle reaching out to Peter, because Claire wouldn't know about their connection from Primatech. I loved it <3
Okay, it's hit or miss with people on these whether they want their characters to be in it, but I was wondering if you wanted Elle to be in it. That'd be tougher, since Claire doesn't exactly get along with her so silliness would be tough to bully out of her.
