Art and Mix for Black Swan Theory
I was lucky enough to have two talented artists and an amazing mixer create work for my story!
crowgirl13 created this picture of Gerard and Gladys! Look at how happy Gerard is clutching Gladys, and Gladys will have none of it! Even Gerard's hair is happy! And Gerard's dimples and puffy, happy cheeks! ♥
Artist notes: 'Dear author,
The combination of MCR and dinosaurs is an awesome idea! I really enjoyed your story and working out which scene to illustrate was tricky. I started out working on Bob and Frank in the Pine Barrens, hiding from the dilophosaurus. This is the first time I've drawn dinos - but the dilophosaurus turned out pretty well. Bob's beard, on the other hand, did not. So you got Gee and Gladys instead. :) I tried to show Gee's excitement through his ridiculous big hair - I am of the impression that it's slightly more contained normally, but -dinosaur.
I had a lot of fun with this project - thank you for giving me the opportunity to play with dinosaurs!

guinsky created a portrait of Gladys, Frank, and Bob. The first thing that caught my eye was Gladys clutching a cockroach in her tiny hand. It's so adorable. Then Frank's smug expression, and Bob's "what is this fuckery" face. ♥ So amazing! Thank you!
maggiebloome was my mixer, and she had a difficult task. My story is about dinosaurs, and sadly, there are very few songs about dinosaurs. However, what she did compile for this mix works really well with the story. :D
At the time of my rough draft, I was calling this fic Shooting the Moon in a Barrel, and I'm not sure if it was intended, but it's a good title for this mix.
