From what I can tell, the game information seems to assume everyone comes from a standard modern-day "Earth" type world. How are characters from markedly different universes (such as Final Fantasy, Fullmetal Alchemist, etc.) handled?

As of right now they would be considered replicas with faulty memories. While this may or may not be true of your character, it would be believed they belong as one of the 'automatons'.

While we considered having a portal or something akin to that we wanted to keep the setting more "realistic" (or as realistic as clones and government takeover can be!) and familiar to everyone who plays.

Yes there will! One of the moderators is currently making a layout of the facility to make things easier on all parties involved.

While we don't have a limit currently, I'd advise no more than three to make sure you enjoy the small game and it's pacing.

Of course. We should be going over apps soon, but I wouldn't be too worried about it. :)
